Darren L. Embry is a managing member of the Firm, an AV rated attorney in Martindale-Hubbell, and a 2014, 2015, 2017-2022 Super Lawyer and recipient of Best Lawyers of America in 2021.

Darren focuses his practice in the areas of Civil Litigation and Real Estate as well as General Business Formations and Transactions. Formerly a Hearing Officer for the Kentucky Board of Claims, Kentucky Public Protection Cabinet and Kentucky Department of Education, Darren is currently a Hearing Officer for the Kentucky Personnel Board, the Kentucky Retirement Systems, and the University of Louisville. He is also a Civil and Family Mediator as certified by the Kentucky Administrative Office of the Courts.

Darren enjoys a varied and wide ranging legal practice. An agent for Commonwealth Land Title Insurance Company, Mr. Embry has acted as real estate counsel and title agent in more than 30 commercial and governmental transactions ranging from $3,000,000 to $134,600,000.  In addition to his work in Kentucky, Darren is licensed to conduct closings and issue title insurance in the State of Indiana. Not limited to commercial and government projects, he has acted as a closing attorney on hundreds of residential transactions and also represented numerous businesses in asset and stock transactions.

While managing a substantial transactional law practice, Darren is a litigator and trial lawyer having participated in over one hundred administrative, bench, and jury trials. As both a former member of the Kentucky Defense Counsel and the Kentucky Justice Association, Darren is equally adept at representing you, your business, or your insurance company.
