Jordan Artrip (Jordan.Artrip@EMWNLaw.com) is an associate at EMWN and joins the firm’s Business Law, Estate Planning, and Real Estate practice groups after several years of practice in North Carolina.

Born and raised in Lexington, Kentucky, Jordan earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Alabama and later attended Wake Forest University School of Law, obtaining his Juris Doctor in 2019.

Upon admission to the North Carolina State Bar, Jordan began practicing in eastern North Carolina, where he advised clients on a variety of business, tax, and real estate matters, including acquisitions and sales, entity selection and governance, contract drafting and negotiation, tax planning, individual, corporate, and fiduciary income tax preparation, and commercial and residential real estate transactions. His experience in tax preparation has provided him with unique sensitivity to the tax consequences of various transactions and tax planning methods.

Jordan is thrilled to be back home in the Bluegrass and looks forward to expanding his practice to include estate planning and administration. He is currently licensed to practice law in North Carolina and is temporarily authorized to practice in Kentucky pending his admission to the Kentucky Bar.
