Embry Merritt Womack Nance, PLLC is seeking a full-time litigation paralegal to support multiple attorneys in our Lexington, KY office. The ideal candidate would have strong organizational skills and ability to work independently, with an interest in civil litigation, and a familiarity with Microsoft Office and Google platforms. The position will involve assisting with the drafting and reviewing of pleadings; answering discovery, interrogatories and request for production of documents; summarizing medical records; claim file review and redactions; electronic filings; docketing and calendaring; frequent communication with clients and various other third parties; and ability to track and maintain own hours, both billable and non-billable.
While not required, the ideal candidate has a minimum of three years of legal experience. Salary commensurate with experience and includes full benefits (medical insurance, life insurance, and 401K).
